We are offering extended hours 7am-7pm

Our after school program offers a wholesome and safe environment with plenty of individual attention for students to complete their homework and participate in various enrichment programs, such as:

Our children live in a hurry-up world of busy parents, school pressures, incessant lessons, video games, malls and competitive sports. We usually do not think of these influences as stressful for our kids, but often they are. The bustling pace of our children's lives can have a profound effect on their innate joy—and usually not for the better.  Yoga can help counter these pressures. When children learn techniques for relaxation and inner  fulfillment, they can navigate life's challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that is noncompetitive. Fostering cooperation and compassion—instead of opposition—is a great gift to give our children.  Experts have found that children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with their inner self and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface.

All students spend time in art activities regularly. In addition, children participate in an art class once a week for 1 hour in the After-School Program. Many lessons incorporate the holidays. Through this class, students will develop and enhance skills such as drawing, painting and crafts and develop a deeper  understanding of design, including shape, line, texture, pattern and color.

This activity develops students’ analytical thinking skills and visual memory.  Children perform an array of exercises aimed at developing  logical thinking and better memory.  These are important practical skills which children can implement in real life situations.
